    Dr. Nicole L. Gibbons

    Executive Director

    Dr. Nicole Gibbons is a native of Rochester, New York, born and raised in the historic 19th Ward, with deep roots and a lifelong commitment to the city she proudly calls home. Known throughout the community as “Nicky,” she is respected for her heart for service and dedication to giving back to the community that shaped her. Dr. Gibbons brings over 30 years of experience in food service and 15 years of nonprofit management, blending operational expertise with mission-driven leadership focused on food security, adult education, and community wellness. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Nonprofit Management, a Master’s degree in Adult Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Human Services, along with a minor in Culinary Arts. Dr. Gibbons is ServSafe Certified, a Nutrition Coach, and has specialized training in domestic violence prevention and response. Her professional experience includes leadership and service with the Urban League of Rochester, Action for a Better Community, Monroe Community College, and the Rochester City School District. Dr. Gibbons has long served as a mentor to women in the community and currently sits on the Board of EdCeptional. She has been happily married to her husband, William Gibbons, for 25 years, and remains excited to continue working and leading in the city she is from—guided by service, compassion, and community care.

      Amy Mincer

      Director of Community Services

      Amy Mincer serves as the Community Services Director, overseeing community outreach, engagement initiatives, and the food pantry program. She acts as a liaison between donating stores and community partners, provides resources for households in the community, and serves as a trusted community liaison, ensuring neighbors are connected to food, services, and support. Amy is a graduate of the Community Health Workers Association of Rochester (CHWAR) first Community Health Worker training cohort in 2019. Prior to joining St. Peter’s Kitchen, she worked for three years as a Community Health Worker with the MC Collaborative, supporting individuals and families through community-based health navigation. Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Westside Farmers Market and is deeply dedicated to strengthening food access, community partnerships, and neighborhood well-being. She lives in Rochester with her two cats and enjoys spending time with friends and serving the community she cares deeply about.

        Alan Searles

        Kitchen Manager

        Alan is a small business owner with extensive experience in the restaurant industry and a diverse culinary background. With a strong foundation in Italian cuisine, he creates nutritious, well-balanced meals that support health and wellness. Alan has added multiple culinary masterpieces inspired by diverse cultures, including shrimp and grits, Hawaiian-inspired soups, and jerk chicken, bringing bold flavor, comfort, and care to the community he serves.

          Ann Windes

          Volunteer Coordinator / Ordering & Food Donor Management

          Ann Windes serves in a leadership support role focused on volunteer coordination, food ordering, and food donor management, helping to ensure smooth daily operations for the kitchen and pantry. Ann first came to St. Peter’s Kitchen in early 2024 as a volunteer and quickly became an integral part of the team. She was promoted to Assistant Kitchen Manager in the summer of 2024, where her role evolved to concentrate on volunteer management and donor coordination. Prior to joining St. Peter’s Kitchen, Ann worked for 23 years as a paralegal, bringing strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills to her work. In what she fondly refers to as her “younger years,” Ann earned an Associate’s Degree in Food Service Administration, a reminder that life often has a way of coming full circle. Ann lives in the Walworth area and is passionate about service, teamwork, and supporting systems that ensure consistent food access for the community.

            Edward Cramp

            Maintenance Team Member

            Ed joined the St. Peter’s Kitchen staff in 2015. He grew up on a dairy farm near Reading, Pennsylvania, and moved to Rochester in 2007 to pursue graduate studies at the University of Rochester, where he earned a Master of Arts in Physics in 2010. An avid cyclist, Ed is a dedicated bike commuter, rain, snow, and cold weather never deter him from riding to work. He volunteers as a bike mechanic with R Community Bikes, supporting the weekly bike clinic at 441 Ministries during the warmer months. In his free time, he also enjoys recreational rides with local cycling groups such as Just for Giggles Cycling.

              John McDermott

              Delivery Driver & Inventory Control

              John is a valued member of the St. Peter’s Kitchen team. He serves as a driver, transporting donations, assisting with lunch check-in, and supporting daily operations wherever help is needed. Well known and appreciated by the community, John brings a friendly and dependable presence to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, riding his Harley, and fishing whenever he gets the chance. He lives in Rochester with his wife and is a proud father and grandfather.
